MLA Formating

Here are several tips to properly write your research papers in MLA format:


Using a Microsoft Word Template


  1. Open Microsoft Word
  2. At the very top of the screen, there will be a search box. Type in the box "MLA"
  3. Two options should be available; click the first one, "MLA style research paper" 
  4. Replace all of the sample information with your information and research. 


Helpful Websites


Purdue Online Writing Lab: MLA - to the left of the screen are links to show several examples of how to format your paper and how to cite information from electronic sources (websites), books, and other common sources.
